NTA UGC NET Application Form 2018 Online Submission (for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor) has been started from 1st to 30th September 2018. UGC NET Dec 2018 Notification (Detailed Notice) has released by the National Testing Agency to conduct UGC NET Dec 2018 examination. UGC National Eligibility Test 2018 examination will be held on 9th to 23rd Dec 2018. Aadhaar card is mandatory to fill NTA UGC NET 2018 Application Form. An applicant will have to enter their Aadhaar card number, Name, DOB (Date of Birth), and Gender to Register for UGC NET 2018 Online Application. Candidates who don’t have Aadhaar card should apply for the Aadhaar enrollment. Candidates who are from J&K, Meghalaya, and Assam can apply with the valid govt identification number like ration card, bank account, and passport.

UGC NET 2018 Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification: To apply for the UGC NET 2018 examination, candidates should have to qualify with at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent from any University / Institute which should be recognised by UGC. Candidates must have their graduation degree in the listed subjects. Candidates who are belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category should have at least 50% marks in Master’s Degree.

Candidates have appeared in the final year of Master’s, whose result is not declared yet, and whose examination has been delayed can also apply and fill NTA UGC 2018 Application Form.

All the Ph.D degree holder candidates if your master’s degree examination has been completed by 19th September 1991 then you will be eligible to apply for UGC NET 2018 with the relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.

All the applicants are advised to appear only in the subject of their post-graduation. If your post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects then you can appear in a related subject.

Age Limit for UGC NET 2018 Examination

Junior Research Fellowship: If you are going to appear in UGC NET Exam 2018 for Junior Research Fellowship, then your age should not more than 30 years as on 1st July 2018. 5 years of age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD.

Assistant Professor: Candidates who are going to appear in UGC NET 2018 examination for Assistant professor then they can apply at any age because there is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor.

How to Fill UGC NET 2018 Application Form?

  • Login (if you have already registered) Or Register with all the required details (if you have not registered)

UGC NET 2018 Application Fee :

Candidates will have to pay the application fee via credit/ debit card or through e-challan. Candidates may also pay the NTA UGC NET Application fee through cash via Syndicate/ICICI/Canara/HDFC Bank branch. Candidates who belong from General category will have to pay Rs. 1000/-, OBC category will have to pay Rs. 500/- and SC/ST/PWD category candidates will have to pay Rs. 250/- only.

UGC NET Admit Card 2018 :

NTA will release UGC NET 2018 Admit Card on 19th November for December exam. Admit card of NTA UGC NET 2018 Exam will be released on the official website. Candidates are advised to download admit card on or before the examination date from the official website and they need to bring NTA UGC NET Admit Card 2018 on the examination centre with a Photo identity card such as College/Institute Identity Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voters Id Card, Pan Card, etc.

UGC NET Cut Off 2018 :

The applicants will have to score as per the minimum NTA UGC NET 2018 Cutoff marks to be eligible for Junior Research Fellowship OR Lectureship. NTA UGC NET Cut Off 2018 will be released according to the different category and discipline. There is no sectional cutoff score for NTA UGC NET exam. The cumulative marks for all sections are taken into consideration and opinion for drawing the NTA UGC NET Merit List 2018.
